To our dearest Hannah, on the event of your dedication to the Lord,

We are blessed to have a precious daughter join our family of sons! Seeing your beautiful face every day has brought more joy to our lives than we could have ever imagined. Your bright blue eyes portray such a depth of character and it is a pleasure just to hold you and listen to all that you have to say at only four months of age!

We are humbled to be entrusted with your precious life and pray that you will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ at an early age and seek Him all the days of your life. Proverbs 31:30 says, “a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised.” We dedicate you to Him and entrust you to His care. May He open your eyes to things of beauty, love and sacrifice, and may He give you the wisdom to see that the trials in your life draw you into a more intimate relationship with Him.

We dedicate ourselves to you and promise that we will love you, care for you, and always seek what is best for you. We promise to set an example for you by maintaining our marriage such that it is glorifying to God. We commit to fostering a loving and caring relationship between you and your brothers, Joshua, Caleb and Eli. We will pray for you daily and teach you what it means to have a future filled with hope by encouraging you to grow in the love and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We commit to raising you to be a Godly woman by teaching you to live your life with love and purity and to carry these qualities into your family life, church and community.

We thank God for you and the lessons that you teach us on a daily basis. Our hope for your life can best be summarized in Micah 6:8 which reads, “act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with your God.”
