Ministry To Children
Scholarship

We are pleased to offer a college scholarship to a graduating High School Senior who intends to use his/her gifts and abilities to further God’s Kingdom by working with children. The requirements for this scholarship are:

• He/She must be a graduating senior in the year the scholarship is awarded.
• He/She must be a member of Colonial Baptist Church.
• He/She must have an exemplary personal walk with Christ that is evident to peers and adults.
• He/She must attend a Christian College that holds to doctrinal positions similar to those of Colonial Baptist Church.
• He/She must have a desire and a plan to prepare for professional ministry to children as a Children’s Pastor, teacher or other profession with direct ministry to children.

Although not required, preference is given to applicants who have served in volunteer ministry in the Children’s Ministries department at Colonial Baptist Church.

Recipiants

On May 28, 2006 we awarded our first ever scholarship in the amount of $1000 to Annemarie Amaan. Annemarie will attend Liberty University.
