October 31 - November 2, 2008

If you were at our last camp, or if you want to see what camp is like, click HERE for the photo album, and HERE for a great picture you can zoom in on.
Fall Camp is a wonderful time of spiritual growth and bonding. This camp is directed and led by the Children’s Ministries department of Colonial Baptist Church. We lease a great camp facility called Camp Willow Run in Littleton, NC. Campers will sleep on train cars that have been retrofitted with bunk beds and bathroom facilities. The weekend includes 4 general sessions with singing and teaching from God’s Word, games, crafts, great food and tons of fun. Parents are welcome to attend with their child, and the parents who attend serve as the chaperones for the weekend. More information for chaperones is available HERE.
Registration Information
Camp costs $85 for the weekend, payable at the time of registration.
The bus departs Colonial Baptist Church on Friday at 5:00PM. The bus arrives back at Colonial on Sunday at 2:30PM.
Participants
Camp is designed for children in grades 3-5. Parents do not need to attend camp with their child. However, parents are welcome to attend and become a chaperone for the weekend. There are at least two chaperones in every cabin. There is nothing that the chaperones need to prepare in advance. The chaperones escort the children through the events of the weekend. More information for the chaperones is HERE.
Housing
Housing at Camp is "Cabin Style". Actually, the cabins are train cars that have been retrofitted with bathrooms and bunk beds. Each train car sleeps 11.
Meals
All meals are provided from Saturday breakfast through Sunday lunch. Meals are cooked by the camp staff and served "family style" in a cafateria. Remember - dinner on Friday is not provided.
Transportation
Please arrive at the church between 4:00 - 4:30PM. Most of the participants travel to camp on buses that we charter for this event. We do not reserve enough busses for everyone and so some people will need to travel in private vehicles. Chaperones who are able to drive should notify Scott at scwylie@gmail.com and include the number of prople you can transport. We ask that you still come to the checkin at Colonial please.

We will have a mail box at the check in area if you would like your child to receive mail during camp.
